Notes

Regardless of whether you’re a seasoned thespian with a lengthy resume or emerging talent who has yet to trod the boards, come spend a week exploring the unique world of live theatre! Explore this collaborative art with others who share the same passion. During this week, we’ll play theater games, explore the language of theatre, build basic skills such as improv and pantomime, interact with scene partners and develop characters, block and direct scenes, and consider the use of tech elements. Students in this class will participate, interact, create, perform, observe, critique, collaborate, react, reflect, and more. While performance skills are the focus, there will also be time spent on design, directing, and production aspects. July 15-19. Instructor: Beth Hansel.
