Course Description

Keene State’s Institute for Learning in Retirement is the Cheshire Academy for Lifelong Learning (CALL). The program is affiliated through the Institute Network with the internationally known Road Scholar program. CALL is an educational program aimed at seniors and/or retired folks. The difference between Road Scholar and Institutes for Lifelong Learning like CALL is that the institutes are typically non-residential. Our classes are lead by members, community experts, and Keene State faculty. Classes are offered for eight weeks in the fall and eight weeks in the spring, with a four-week “mini-session” offered in January and February. CALL members support Keene State students through the CALL Wonderment scholarship. They also generously donate to the CALL Program Fund to support CALL initiatives like gatherings and teas, field trips, and classroom sound systems. Donate here! Still have questions? Check out our frequently asked questions or join our electronic newsletter list to receive regular email updates about the CALL program at www.keene.edu/call.
